    More details about the country

Ethiopia, officially known as the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, is an independent landlocked country on the Horn of Africa. The capital of the sovereign state is Addis Ababa, which can be found almost at the republic’s center. It is the largest and most populated country in the region. The sovereign state is bounded by Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, Kenya, as well as South Sudan and Sudan. The country has a federal republic with two legislative houses as its form of government.

Ethiopia can provide students with an interesting experience should this country be selected as a location to study abroad. To begin with, the country has about 50 universities with international recognition and accreditation. It also offers a wide range of subjects which can be studied with popular ones including Management, Engineering, Economics, Health, Environmental Studies, Business, Computer Science, Medicine, and Natural Sciences. Each of the programs available provides in-depth training in the field of study selected by the student. In addition, many of the programs are taught in English, which allows a student to hone their foreign-language skills. Apart from the previously-mentioned advantages, a student can also take advantage of the multiple internship and volunteer programs available. This includes participating in projects related to Healthcare, Medicine, Community Development, Environmental Conservation, Gender Equality, and others. In addition, tuition fees within the country tend to be less costly compared to other countries such as France or Belgium. The same applies to everyday expenses such as food, transport, as well as other necessities depending on what the student needs.
