The country has a relatively expansive list of institutions of higher education with popular selections being the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, the Vytautas Magnus University, the Vilnius University, and the Kaunas University of Technology. Likewise, the country provides a wide selection of subjects which can be studied including Business, Management, Engineering, Information Technologies, Sociology, Communication, Law & Jurisprudence, Economics, Arts, and Tourism. Furthermore, the country is a suitable location to practice and learn foreign languages such as Lithuanian, Latvian and English, with the latter being an available option for many programs in the institutions of higher education. However, there are several factors that one should not overlook lest they become a hindrance. To begin with, students may need a visa to study in the country.
