To begin with, the country has a limited number of accredited institutions of higher education, with popular selections including the Islamic University of Gaza, the An-Najah National University, and others. However, it does compensate by providing in-depth training on a broad range of subjects such as Education, Mathematics, Information Technologies, Biology, Business, Management, Physics, Administration, Chemistry, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Earth Sciences, Philology, Finance & Banking, Programming, Technology, Sociology, Law & Jurisprudence, Media, and Medicine. Also, the country is a suitable location to study and practice Arabic for, as previously mentioned, this tongue is Palestine’s official language. This can provide students with an opportunity to hone communication in a language that is necessary to conduct business with many countries, particularly in the oil and gas industry. Furthermore, the State of Palestine is a suitable location to participate in internships and volunteer programs pertaining to Education, International Relations, Politics, Community Development, and Agriculture. However, one should bear in mind that a certain code of dress may have to be followed in certain institutions of higher education and areas outside of campus.
