    More details about the country

Saint Kitts and Nevis, officially known as the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, also referred to as Saint Christopher and Nevis is an island state consisting of two Lesser Antilles islands located in the eastern part of the Caribbean Sea. They have a total land area of 104 square miles, with the capital of Basseterre located on Saint Kitts. The country is a federated constitutional monarchy with one legislative house, with the head of state being Queen Elizabeth II, assisted by Samuel Weymouth Tapley Seaton as Governor-General.

The Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, despite its location and a rather limited list of accredited universities, can be a worthwhile location to study abroad. As already mentioned, the country does have a rather limited list of accredited universities, but it does compromise by providing in-depth training on a variety of subjects such as Health, Medicine, Hospitality, Biomedicine, Administration, Information Technologies, Education, Environmental Studies, Philology, and Psychology. Furthermore, the country’s official language is English; it is also used during tuition, thus allowing students to practice one of the world’s international and widely spoken languages. In addition, there are many opportunities to participate in internship programs, especially in the fields of Business, Hospitality, Education, Tourism, and Biology. Similarly, students can participate in volunteer programs pertaining to the fields of Ecology as well as the previously-mentioned. However, one should be aware that tuition fees can vary greatly depending on the institution of higher education and the selected program; therefore proper research should be conducted in advance.
